Lin Siqi’s “As Expected” 3rd-anniversary concert successfully wrapped up at Dapeng New District Sports Center, Shenzhen. Boasting exquisite stage design and a vibrant atmosphere, the show delivered an immersive audiovisual experience for both on-site and online audiences.
Our ST-2100 gyro-stabilized track robot was deployed for the full live broadcast capture, bringing a specialised mobile camera solution to break the limits of conventional fixed camera positions and craft striking, cinematic shot language for the live event.
Based on the stage layout and live streaming requirements (1m stage height), the ST-2100 was paired with our lifting column system. The track was laid in the transition zone between the stage and audience seating. The unit travels smoothly back and forth along the track, while the integrated lifting column enables real-time adjustment of camera height to match dynamic shooting demands throughout the performance.
Unlike the limited single viewpoint of fixed cameras, the system supports flexible angle switching. It can capture artist performances, lighting details and key highlights on stage, while also pulling reverse shots of the audience to capture the energetic live response. Dual-layered shooting greatly enriches the live feed, bridging the gap between performers, on-site viewers and online audiences for immersive viewing.
Equipped with a 3-axis gyro-stabilized gimbal, the ST-2100 offers broad camera compatibility, supporting broadcast cameras and high-end cinema cameras. For this concert, it worked in tandem with the Canon C400 cinema camera, delivering silky, sharp and stable footage during motion to meet stringent live production standards.
For large concerts, live shows, variety galas and sports events, fixed cameras and standard jibs often suffer from limited viewpoints, repetitive movement and insufficient visual depth. The ST-2100 solves these pain points with fluid tracking and diverse movements including push/pull and lateral tracking. It unlocks creative shot options for directors and significantly elevates the visual quality of live broadcasts.
